What type of anesthesia do you use?
We offer two types of anesthesia. The first one is a local anesthetic, which means that only the area in which the doctor will be working will be numb. With this form of anesthesia the patient is fully awake and aware of everything that’s going on. The second one will be deep sedation, AKA ‘the twilight zone’. In this form of sedation the patient is asleep and is not aware of anything that’s going on. By the time the doctor is done the patient is awake. To some extent this is a little bit more comfortable for the patient.
